Death by car – our monthly 9/11
This is serious.
Recently, I found this TED – Talk of Mikael Colville-Andersen, which he gave at TEDx Zurich in 2012.
Frightening is his statement, that 35.000 people would be getting killed in traffic accidents every year in the USA and Europe. That would equate to “one 9/11 every month”. I was shocked, when I heard this and could not believe it.
But I am sorry to tell, that he is right.

Recently, it was time to change my bike’s chain. Nothing special, but if You take a pictures of old and new chain, You get a nice before-and-after-effect.
To measure the amount of stretching you usually have to take a “kettenlehre”, which could be pricy. But fortunately I found a solution here link.
